Sara Walsh
Co-Founder & Student Homeopath
After more than 30 years working in finance and commercial marketing, I stepped away from corporate life in 2022 to devote my time and energy to complementary healthcare.
My interest in natural medicine grew from my own experience of chronic ill health. Over the course of a 15-year journey, homeopathy, herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutrition and meaningful lifestyle changes all played a part in helping me regain my health. I also managed the challenges of early menopause alongside a demanding four-hour daily commute, so I understand first-hand that improving our health can require patience, commitment and, occasionally, a willingness to make difficult changes.
That experience ultimately led me to begin professional training in homeopathy. I am currently in the second year of a four-year programme, having first studied at the School of Homeopathy in Stroud before continuing my training at the North West College of Homeopathy in Stockport. Both colleges teach classical homeopathy alongside the essential study of anatomy, physiology, biology and pathology.
From the end of August 2026, I will begin taking chronic cases as part of my supervised clinical training. All cases will be managed within the requirements of my college supervision, and I am insured through the Society of Homeopaths.
I am also on hand for general discovery enquiries, working with provider clinical teams to help review natural supplement protocols, and supporting individuals by guiding and explaining available treatment options.
My experiences as both a patient and a business owner have made me passionate about raising standards within complementary healthcare. Over the years, I have met some exceptional practitioners, as well as seeing how inconsistent the experience can sometimes be for patients seeking help.
Together with Stuart, my aim is to create something different at Shipston Therapy Centre: a professional, welcoming and collaborative environment where practitioners are carefully verified, standards matter, and people can explore complementary healthcare with greater confidence.
I believe that taking an active role in our own health can be both empowering and enjoyable. Complementary care is not about promising quick fixes, but about understanding the whole person, making informed choices and creating the conditions in which better health may become possible.Qualifications & Professional Memberships
