Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients of Shipston Therapy Centre (STC), which is the trading name of Alwyn Grace Limited.
1. Definitions.
‘STC’ means Shipston Therapy Centre, operated by Alwyn Grace Limited. Co. number
‘Client’ means anyone who provides their personal details to book a session online, by phone, SMS, email or through our website contact form.
‘Clinic’ means our premises at 14 Market Place, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, CV36 4AG.
‘Terms’ means these Terms and Conditions.
STC may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published and apply to all clients from the time of publication.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
2. Client Informed Consent.
By booking an appointment and providing your personal details, you become a client of STC. We reserve the right to accept or decline bookings at our discretion. You must be 18 or older or have written consent from a parent or guardian.
By booking treatment, you agree to the following:
I give my consent to receive treatment from qualified practitioners or therapists at STC;
I understand that a consultation will take place before treatment, and I will give full and accurate information about my health, including details of any pre-existing conditions or medication that could prevent treatment;
I understand that I can stop the treatment or ask questions at any time.
I understand the practitioner may need to examine and treat the affected area, which could involve undressing to underwear. If I’m uncomfortable with this, I’ll let the practitioner know.
I understand that treatment results are not guaranteed, and more than one session may be needed;
I understand that I may feel sore or achy for up to 24 hours after treatment, and old symptoms may briefly return;
I agree to contact my therapist or practitioner if I have any concerns after treatment;
I understand that STC practitioners do not diagnose illnesses or prescribe medication;
Practitioners will use their professional judgment and choose safe techniques based on my health history;
This consent covers both current and future conditions I may seek treatment for, and I can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Payment Terms.
Treatment fees are listed on our website, our clinic booking platform, or available from the Clinic and are subject to change from time to time;
Some treatment fees may require prepayment or a deposit, which will be stated online if booking online, or advised to you when in person or telephone booking;
Gift cards can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase if unused. After that, they are non-refundable and valid for 365 days;
Gift cards are electronic and sent via email.
5. Bookings, Cancellations, and Late Notice Policy
We understand that unexpected events can sometimes prevent you from attending your appointment. However, please note that we have a cancellation policy in place to help manage our schedule and ensure availability for all clients.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or missed appointments will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the booked treatment.
Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will not incur a cancellation charge and changes to your appointment can be made via the website, your online booking account, or by contacting us directly.
We may have waiting lists for treatment, or patients and clients that need treatment and therefore we want to limit wasted appointments for practitioners.
6. Safety & Hygiene
To keep our clinic safe and welcoming for everyone:
No food or drink should be consumed on the premises;
No pets (except assistance dogs) are permitted inside;
Children must always be accompanied and cannot be left unattended in reception;
We do not tolerate abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website including the name Shipston Therapy Centre, logos, images, and written material belongs to STC and is legally protected.
You may not copy, use, or distribute our content without written permission.
8. Loyalty and Rewards Scheme
Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18 and over;
STC staff and their close family members are not eligible;
You must have an STC account to join;
Each person can only have one account. Accounts are non-transferable.
Earning Points
The loyalty scheme starts on 1st August 2025;
You earn 1 point for every £1 spent on eligible treatments and products;
Each point is worth the equivalent of £0.03.
Points Exclusions
No points are earned on purchases made with gift cards or vouchers;
Only fully paid, completed treatments and product purchases count;
If you return a product for a refund, we will deduct the number of points collected from your account.
Redeeming Points
Points can be redeemed against physical products (not gift cards, vouchers or treatments);
You must redeem at least 100 points at a time;
Each point is worth the equivalent of £0.03;
Points can only be redeemed by the account holder.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account and contact details up to date;
Fraud Prevention
STC may suspend or cancel your account if you breach these terms or we suspect fraud. Examples can include:
Trying to earn points dishonestly;
Redeeming points for someone else.
Points Validity
Points are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned;
Unused points will expire after that time.

9. Supplementation
Shipston Therapy Centre provides access to nutritional and wellbeing products from reputable suppliers. Please be aware that:
All product information is supplied for general educational purposes only and does not replace advice from a qualified health professional.
Decisions to purchase and use supplements are made at the client’s own discretion and responsibility. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on prescribed medication, please consult your GP or another qualified practitioner before starting any supplement.
Shipston Therapy Centre does not manufacture these products. Any defective goods, returns, or warranty issues must be directed to the manufacturer in line with their policy.
By purchasing products from the clinic, you accept that Shipston Therapy Centre cannot be held liable for outcomes resulting from product choice or use.
10. Refund Policy on Products
If for any reason you're dissatisfied with a product you have purchased, we will offer a refund on products returned to us within fourteen days of your receipt, provided they are returned in the original packaging, in an unopened, unused and saleable condition.
Please be aware that due to EU hygiene regulations we cannot offer a refund, replacement or exchange on items returned in non-saleable condition.
