psychodynamic therapy
Psychodynamic therapy is a form of talking therapy that helps you understand how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns may be shaping how you think, feel, and relate today.
Rather than focusing only on current symptoms, it works at a deeper level—helping you make sense of recurring patterns, emotional responses, and difficulties that may feel hard to shift. Central to this approach is the understanding that early relationships and life experiences continue to influence how we experience ourselves and others.
This is a relational approach. It recognises that we are shaped through our connections with others, and that patterns formed in relationships can repeat over time, often outside of awareness. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes part of the work, offering a safe and professional space to explore these patterns with care and curiosity, and to begin to experience new ways of relating.
individual & relational work deep work
Psychodynamic therapy can support both individuals and couples.
Individual therapy offers a space to explore your inner world, your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and personal history, and how these shape your current life.
Psychodynamic therapy looks beyond immediate, surface-level issues to the underlying patterns that shape how we relate. It helps work helps you understand why these patterns arise in the first place, often tracing them back to earlier life experiences. This deeper exploration can support more meaningful and lasting change over time.
The aim is not simply to manage symptoms, but to support deeper, more lasting change over time.
