FAQs
  • We provide a range of therapies and services tailored to individual client needs. Each therapy page details the potential benefits of each treatment, together with what to expect during a session.

  • Prices vary practice to practice. Prices are correct and up to date on our website and booking portal. You can find pricing under each treatment page. If you have any questions or requests for an extended appointment, please get in touch with us directly to see how we might best help you.

  • You are able to book and pay for treatment directly when register and you set up your account.

  • Many private health insurance companies now reimburse complementary healthcare treatments. To be certain, please ensure you contact your provider to discuss the claim process before initiating treatment.

    You may also find your insurer provides self select ‘cash’ packages, allowing you to elect treatment yourself and to be reimbursed, for example Medicash or Simplyhealth.

    If you have such cover, you may require a receipt to claim. Please request this at the time of treatment from your practitioner.

  • You can book online using one of the many booking links listed throughout the site, you can use the contact form, email us at infor@shipstontherapycentre co.uk or call us on 01608 664664. We are ready to help you so that you can find the right treatment for your needs, at a time that works best for you.

  • Yes, and whilst we understand that unexpected events can sometimes prevent you from attending your appointment. However, please note that we have a cancellation policy in place to help manage our schedule and ensure availability for all clients.

    1) Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or missed appointments will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the booked treatment.

    2) Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will not incur a cancellation charge and changes to your appointment can be made via the website, your online booking account, or by contacting us directly.

    We may have waiting lists for treatment, or patients and clients that need help.

  • All practitioners are self-employed, fully qualified and hold current professional registrations, together with public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Each practitioner is screened so you can book with confidence. They are all self-employed and are well-equipped to provide professional guidance and support throughout your therapeutic journey.

  • Your first appointment includes the completion of a short, patient intake chat and the completion of a form. This can be completed online through the link, at the time of booking, or in person if you would prefer. If you opt for ‘in person’, please allow an extra 15 minutes at the start of your appointment to register. Once with your practitioner, you can expect a full consultation relevant to the therapy, and time for questions. You are advised to wear comfortable loose clothing and we’ll explain anything you need to know before commencement of treatment.

  • Many of our therapies can be safely adapted for pregnancy and long-term health conditions, but suitability is assessed on an individual basis. Please tell us when booking and complete the intake form so your practitioner can review your history, explain any precautions, and agree a safe treatment plan with you. Where clinically necessary a practitioner may modify or decline treatment and could ask for written clearance from your GP or midwife. If a treatment isn’t appropriate, we’ll suggest alternatives or a short complimentary call to discuss next steps. This information is for guidance and does not replace medical advice.

  • We operate a safe and confidential space at Shipston Therapy Centre. We prioritise your privacy and all treatments and communication are treated with the utmost confidentiality. We adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality guidelines as set out by GDPR. All information shared with Shipston Therapy Centre is held securely on our client management software system and is both GDPR and HIPPA compliant. A copy of our privacy policy can be obtained by clicking the link in the footer of the website.

  • The duration of therapy sessions may vary depending on the type of therapy and your individual needs. Typically, sessions may last from 45 minutes to an hour, and some 90 minutes. We are able to offer a range of timings to suit your schedule and according to your needs. Details are contained on the therapy pages and also on our booking options. Your practitioner can offer additional guidance as you undertake treatment.

  • Yes, we are open to individuals of all ages and have access for clients with limited mobility. Please let us know at the point of booking if you have any special requirements so that we can accommodate your needs quickly and efficiently.

  • We are open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 9am - 1.30pm.

    Treatment may take place outside of these core hours by arrangement.

    We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
