Co-FounderWith over 30 years of experience in finance, and commercial marketing, I stepped away from the corporate world in 2022 to dedicate my time and energy to complementary healthcare.
My own journey from chronic illness to health inspired my profound respect for natural medicine, especially homeopathy, herbalism, and acupuncture, and ultimately led me to train professionally as a Homeopath. Having successfully managed early menopause and demanding 4-hour daily commutes naturally, I understand first-hand the transformative power of complementary practices, provided we embrace meaningful change, and yes, sometimes we have to make sacrifices!
Throughout my 15-year natural health journey, I've met many practitioners, some great, some not so great, as such, I'm deeply passionate about raising professional standards within the complementary health industry.
Drawing from my regulated corporate background, particularly in finance, my vision is clear: create an innovative and supportive clinic environment that blends trusted, evidence-based complementary care, delivered by a verified multi disciplined team, together with proactive wellness education and care. This, benefits practitioners, clients, and the broader industry.
Taking agency over your own health through self-care is not just enjoyable and empowering, it’s increasingly necessary. In the UK, more than 2.5 million people are out of the workforce due to ill health, and national healthcare expenditure surpassed £280 billion in 2021, accounting for 12% of GDP. Yet many people continue to live in poor health, much of it related to preventable conditions. This mounting economic and personal burden makes the case for complementary care and proactive nutritional education clearer than ever: prevention and holistic well-being are not optional, they’re essential to reversing these troubling trends!

Co-FounderLike Sara, I have an extensive corporate and entrepreneurial background, rooted initially in banking (whose professionalism and rigorous training we still praise today), before moving into technology at the dawn of the internet, followed by roles in enterprise businesses and consulting.
In 2021, as COVID restrictions eased, we made a lifestyle move to the area. This provided me an opportunity to reflect deeply on how I wanted to spend my time, prompting me to step away from my recent business venture in favour of something more community focused. I launched Shipston Spokes, a local bike shop renowned for exceptional service and genuine customer care.
Ultimately, leaving the bike industry was a positive and intentional decision. Although I loved my shop, and my customers; and took great pride in what I had built, I recognised changing market dynamics presented an opportunity to redirect my energy toward something even more meaningful.
Joining Sara in her mission to rebuild Shipston Therapy Centre felt like a natural and exciting next step. Using my skills and energy to complement hers, I’m now building a robust technology platform alongside operational excellence in systems and processes, ensuring we deliver care and access, in a way clients and patients truly value.
Since making this decision, my own holistic health journey has grown, driven by personal exploration and a growing awareness of what integrated wellness practices need. I’m currently training as a Level 5 Health Coach to help create a truly holistic care offering. My philosophy is straightforward: wellness is a practical, achievable goal when approached with clarity, simplicity, and consistent support.
