Dr. Catherine Rashid

Catherine is a psychodynamic couple and individual psychotherapist, helping clients with their relationships. This includes sex and intimacy, anger, withdrawal,

infidelity, parenting, and other emotional difficulties. Her clinical practice is informed by rigorous psychodynamic training at Tavistock Relationships.

She is a registered member of the BACP (416862), an Associate Clinical Member of the West Midlands Institute for Psychotherapy, and a member of the Tavistock Relationships Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Prior to retraining as a psychotherapist, Catherine had a decade-long career as a diplomat in the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, including leadership roles in conflict-affected settings in the Middle East. She is a trauma-informed mindfulness teacher, and has led 8-week mindfulness courses (MBCT) in-person in Warwick and online. 

She is also an endurance runner and co-leads trail running and mindfulness retreats in North Yorkshire.
