hypnotherapy

is a type of therapy that uses hypnosis to induce a trance-like state in a person.

Hypnotherapy helps to unlock positive experience to bring about resolution to the internal disruption. The practitioner facilitates the process and change will only happen when, and at the pace, the body is ready for it to do so. the practitioner may suggest positive changes or insights to the individual, helping them to overcome negative patterns of thinking or behaviour.

Every experience in life is stored in the brain as a memory and consequently influences the way we experience and respond to life. Sometimes the unconscious memories become ‘disorganised’ and affect our lives and health. Physical conditions such as IBS, asthma, pain, and emotional symptoms such as panic attacks, low mood, obsessive behaviour or addiction, and illogical fears can all come from this disruption of subconscious memories.

The goal of hypnotherapy is to help gain control over thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to promote positive change.

NOTE: hypnotherapy is not a form of mind control. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process between the practitioner and the individual, and success is largely dependent on the individual's willingness to participate and engage with the process.
