  • If you are unsure as to which practice or treatment to choose and you wish to discuss your health needs in more detail. You might want to book a call back and take advantage of a free 15-minute, no obligation telephone consultation with one of our experienced practitioners.

    We know that more in-depth discussions, may be required, especially if recommend a blend of treatments.

    You can discuss your health requirements in complete confidence and ensure that you have all the information you need to make a well-informed choice.

  • All the practitioners are fully insured and are qualified in their respective areas of practice. They are all self-employed and are well-equipped to provide professional guidance and support throughout your therapeutic journey.

  • We operate a safe and confidential space at Shipston Therapy Centre. We prioritise your privacy and all treatments and communication are treated with the utmost confidentiality. We adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality guidelines as set out by GDPR. All information shared during therapy sessions is kept strictly confidential, in accordance with legal and ethical standards also set out by your practitioners associated memberships.

  • The duration of therapy sessions may vary depending on the type of therapy and your individual needs. Typically, sessions may last from 45 minutes to an hour, and some 90 minutes. Your practitioner can guide you as to the most suitable option available.

  • You will pay your practitioner directly and they accept a range of payments including card and cash. Some also have payment plans available for longer term treatment. Please feel free to enquire about payment options during your initial contact or with your practitioner in consultation. They can take payment either in advance, or at the time of treatment. Your practitioner can guide you further.

  • Yes, we are open to individuals of all ages and have access for clients with limited mobility. Please let us know at the point of booking if you have any special requirements so that we can accommodate your needs quickly and efficiently.

  • The centre is open every day from 8:30am – 9pm.

    The waiting area is resourced for enquires and clients wanting further information about treatment options, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11.00am – 4pm

    We are closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

  • There are many ways to schedule an appointment, you can contact your practitioner directly via their contact details on the ‘team’ page, you can fill our ‘contact form’ with all of your details and preferred time of contact and appointment, you can email your details to info@shipstontherapycentre.co.uk or call us on 01608 664664. We are ready to help you so that you can find the right treatment for your needs, at a time that works best for you.

  • Yes, whilst we are aware that day to day life can be unpredictable, and this may result in you having to cancel your appointment.

    Often, our practitioners have waiting lists of patients or clients that need treatment and therefore it is a real shame to have wasted appointments in their schedule. They may also travel to the Centre for a single appointment therefore it is important that our practitioners are paid appropriately for the time and costs incurred.

    1) Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will not incur a cancellation charge.

    2) Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or missed appointments will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the booked treatment.

    If you are in any doubt please contact your practitioner who will also be able to talk to you about what to do, or how to reach them should this happen.

  • Payments can be made by cash, cheque and debit or credit cards. Most practitioners carry a card terminal to each appointment.

    When contacting you, your practitioner will explain if there are any other payment methods or arrangements for settling treatment bills available, such as, bank transfer or payment plans. If you are in doubt or require clarification, please speak to your practitioner directly.

  • Many private health insurance companies now reimburse complementary healthcare treatments. To be certain, please ensure you contact your provider to discuss the claim process before initiating treatment.

    You may also find your insurer provides self select ‘cash’ packages, allowing you to elect treatment yourself and to be reimbursed, for example Medicash or Simplyhealth.

    If you have such cover, you may require a receipt to claim. Please request this at the time of treatment from your practitioner.
